Wall smashed with a sledgehammer but an overlooked door

Let's be real: sometimes we make problems harder than they need to be. You see a challenge, and your first instinct is to grab the biggest, most complicated solution out there. But there's often a simpler, easier way, if you patiently look for it.

Picture this: you're facing a metaphorical wall. Your immediate thought is to smash through it, expending tons of energy. But take a step back... there might be a door hidden in that wall, saving you all that effort!

The same goes for life's challenges, especially when it comes to our health and well-being. We get caught up in complex diets, intense workouts, and overwhelming information. Maybe all that stuff isn't necessary.

Ray Dalio, in his famous book Principles, talks about choosing the best solutions over just good ones. Sometimes you need to walk away from a strategy that seems okay, knowing there's something even better out there. This is life-changing when it comes to our health goals!

So, next time you're stuck, ask yourself: is there a hidden door instead of a wall to batter down? Is there a smaller, more manageable step I could take instead? You might be amazed at the simpler solutions waiting for you!
